Month of the Military Child 2020

Announcing Month of the Military Child 2020 in Orange County California

How can Orange County honor and support our troops and military families? It's a question often thought of during the holidays or when combat makes the news. However, families and children of our armed forces active-duty, Reserve, and National Guard service members and veterans need help working through the demands of military life every day.

April is Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the countless sacrifices made by military-connected children and bring awareness to the availability of services for helping manage the challenges of growing up in a military family. The monthly event draws the support of community agencies, businesses, foundations, and service groups throughout Southern California. Since 2012 Strong Families, Strong Children has taken a lead role in organizing the Orange County Veterans and Military Families Collaborative's annual Month of the Military Child celebration.
