Chase Wickersham

Board Member

Joining the CGC Board in 2026, Chase graduated from Claremont Men’s College and has an MBA from USC.  He is a combat veteran who served as a First Lieutenant with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star. Today, he is actively engaged in veterans’ advocacy, having worked for U.S.VETS in Los Angeles as a member of the Board of Directors, and then as the Senior Vice President of Operations. In this role, he was responsible for 12 locations across the country that housed 2,500 homeless veterans each night.  He has held various positions with American Legion Post 291 in Newport Beach over the past 23 years and started the VEAF (Veteran Emergency Assistance Fund) to help local veterans who need immediate financial support.  He is also a lifetime member of the VFW.

Chase was appointed as the first Director of the Tierney Center for Veteran Services at Goodwill of Orange County. He launched the Veteran Business Network in Orange County which now has more than 5,000 veteran members meeting regularly.
 
Chase is one of the founding members of the Orange County Veterans and Military Families Collaborative and was appointed by Supervisor Moorlach to the Veteran Advisory Council serving for eight years and currently serves on the Orange County Behavioral Health Advisory Board as Supervisor Foley’s appointee for the 5th district. 

As a former business owner and manager, Chase founded and managed companies in the industrial automation industry, working in positions as salesman, Sales Manager,  Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, General Manager and President in a career that spans more than 40 years.
